Presidium® Synthetic Diamond Screener II

The Synthetic Diamond Screener is developed by Presidium® to help screen out Type IIa colorless diamond, which is likely to be synthetic and created through chemical vapor deposition (CVD) or high pressure high temperature (HPHT) syntheses, from the natural Type Ia colorless diamond. When subjected to this deep UV irradiation, Type Ia and Type IIa diamonds each absorb different amount of UV light. Type IIa diamonds allow deeper UV light to pass through and thus its UV light absorption ability is low. This difference in the light absorption is significant enough to aid in differentiating between colorless Type Ia and Type IIa diamonds. Recommended operating conditions: Only for Colorless Diamonds of: Color Grade: D Color to J Color, Carat Size: 0.1 carat to > 10 carats, Cut: For all cuts as long as gemstone has a flat surface, Mounted Jewelry: For jewelry with “open-back” setting.

Warranties are issued by the manufacturer of an item and not our store. If an item you bought is defective within the 30 days of your purchase date, we will gladly replace it for you if a receipt is present. Otherwise, we will be more than happy to help you obtain any information you need in order to properly communicate with the manufacturer of your item. Please note that if you choose to have us correspond with the manufacturer regarding your item, there will be a shipping fee and/or a repair charge if the item's warranty is deemed to be expired.

ONLINE returns are accepted within 30 days of the purchase date. All items must be unused and in their original packaging. To return an item, please contact us by e-mail or by phone to obtain an RMA number. We will gladly refund you in the original form of payment. Shipping costs for returns are paid for by customers unless item(s) are deemed to be defective or shipped incorrectly by us. Items that do not have a receipt will be issued a store credit if and when approved for return within the 30 days period. Please note, special orders are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

STORE returns are accepted within 7 days of the purchase date but will be credited with a store credit. There are no cash returns on items purchased in store. Returns of damaged or defective items will be considered within 30 days of the purchase date.
