An automatic self winding watch should be kept wound and running as much as possible to prevent its lubricants from congealing over time, which diminishes accuracy. This unit winds 6 watches at a time, and runs on included 110V-240V AC adapter. This winder features a Japanese Mabuchi motor which is regarded as the best motor in the world. • Position 1 - Winder is off.
• Position 2 - Winder will rotate clockwise for 2 minutes, then rest for 6 minutes, then repeat the cycle.
• Position 3 - Winder will rotate counter-clockwise for 2 minutes, then rest for 6 minutes, then repeat the cycle.
• Position 4 - Winder will rotate for 2 minutes, then rest for 6 minutes. It will then rotate counter-clockwise for 2 minutes, then rest for 6 minutes, then repeat the cycle. 
• Position 5 - Winder will rotate clockwise for 5 minutes, then counter-clockwise for 5 minutes. It will repeat this cycle for 3 hours, then rest for 9 hours, then it will repeat this cycle from the beginning.
